The Oxford Mission came to Barishal in the early 20th century, and its church, the Epiphany Church, is one of the largest in Bangladesh. Built of red brick with arched windows and a high bell tower, it feels unexpected amid the city's river bustle. The compound is shaded by tall trees and kept peaceful. Visitors are welcome with permission.
