Thick, sweet set yoghurt from Gournadi, sold in clay pots along the Dhaka–Barishal highway.
Gournadi upazila is famous for its sweet curd, set slowly in clay pots until firm enough to cut. It has a creamy texture and caramel sweetness. Buses on the highway often stop here so travellers can buy pots to take home. It is eaten after meals or with chira and muri.
