The best-known dish is boro baper polay khay, a heavy mix of chickpeas, minced meat, brain, egg, chira, spices and ghee tossed together in a huge pan. Stalls also sell kebabs, roast meats and big coils of shahi jilapi. Many sellers are the second or third generation of their family at the same spot.
