Chandamari Mondolpara Jame Mosque stands in Chandamari village, about 4 km south-west of Rajarhat upazila town. Archaeologists date it roughly to between 1584 and 1680, and its style mixes Sultanate features with Mughal design. The building is about 40 feet long and 20 feet wide, with three large domes, four corner minarets and sixteen small domes around the roof. Three mihrabs line the inside, and a big pond lies in front. It is still in daily use.
