Bangladesh Agricultural University, founded in 1961, has one of the greenest campuses in the country, stretching along the Old Brahmaputra. Its botanical garden holds a large collection of native and exotic plants, and experimental fields and ponds fill much of the grounds. The riverside road on campus is a peaceful place to walk or cycle. Students and locals gather at the riverbank in the evening.

Auto or rickshaw from Mymensingh town, about 15 minutes.
