Jamuna Bridge West Eco Park
যমুনা সেতু পশ্চিম পাড় ইকোপার্ক
A large planted park by the western end of the Jamuna Bridge, for a stroll with river and bridge views.
The eco park lies at Saidabad in Sirajganj Sadar, next to the embankment on the west bank of the Jamuna and north of the highway. After the bridge was built, the Forest Department planted trees around its approaches, and in 2007 about 124 acres were set aside as an eco park, opened in March 2008. Today it is a green, shady place where families picnic and walk, with the long bridge and the wide river close by.
How to get there
Take a bus or CNG from Sirajganj town to Saidabad near the western end of the bridge.
Good to know
Weekday mornings are quiet. Stay off the bridge approach road itself.
