Foy's Lake
ফয়'স লেক
A winding man-made lake tucked between green hills in the middle of the city, good for a slow boat ride.
Foy's Lake was created in the 1920s by damming a hill stream, mainly to supply water to the railway colony nearby. Today it is a privately run leisure park, with boats gliding along narrow arms of the lake between steep wooded hills. There is an amusement park and resort on site, but the quieter corners of the water are the real reason to come.
How to get there
Located in the Khulshi/Pahartali area, a short CNG or ride-share trip from GEC Circle.
Good to know
Ticket packages change often, so check prices at the gate. Weekdays are far less crowded.
