Narail Zamindar Bari

The Narail zamindars built large houses, temples and tanks in the 19th century, and the town grew around their estate. Much of the complex is now in ruins, with trees growing from old brick walls. A few buildings and a large pond remain in use. Wandering through gives a sense of the town's colonial-era past.

Within Narail town; any rickshaw puller knows the way.

Good to know

Parts are unsafe structurally; keep out of crumbling interiors.
