Khoiyachora Waterfall

Khoiyachora falls in several tiers down a forested gully in Mirsharai, north of the city. The walk in follows a shallow stream over stones and through bamboo and scrub, which is half the fun. The lowest tier is easy to reach, while the upper steps need careful climbing. It runs strongest during and just after the monsoon.

How to get there

Take a highway bus to Boro Takia bazar in Mirsharai, then a CNG to the trail start; the walk takes about an hour each way.

Good to know

Wear shoes with grip, avoid the upper tiers after heavy rain, and go with a local guide if you are unsure of the trail.
