Godar Bazar is a stretch of the Padma's bank just outside Rajbari town where locals come to sit by the water. The river here is wide and fast, with chars rising in the dry season. Boatmen offer short rides, and tea stalls line the embankment in the evenings. It is the simplest way to experience the Padma from Rajbari.
How to get there
Rickshaw or auto from Rajbari town, about 10–15 minutes.
Good to know
Riverbank erosion is common; stay back from crumbling edges, especially in monsoon.
