Built around the early 19th century in the late Mughal style, the Mithapukur Mosque is a compact rectangular building topped by three domes with corner towers. Its facade carries decorative panels in plaster and brick. It sits in a village setting a short way from the Rangpur–Dhaka highway. Few travellers stop, which makes it a peaceful break on a road trip.
