Most visitors to Sajek stay around the main cottage strip, but Konglak sits at the very end of the ridge. A short, steep climb through bamboo brings you to a quiet village of stilted houses, with orange and other fruit trees around. The views from here stretch over the Mizoram hills, and sunrise is quieter than at the helipad.
How to get there
Walk or take a short jeep ride to the end of the Sajek road, then climb about 30–45 minutes.
Good to know
Respect villagers' privacy, ask before photos, and buy fruit or tea locally.
