Mohisher doi
মহিষের দই
Tangy, thick buffalo-milk curd set in clay pots, eaten with flattened rice or molasses.
Buffalo herds grazing on Bhola's chars produce rich milk that is set into curd in clay pots. Unlike sweet mishti doi, mohisher doi is mostly sour, with a thick, creamy layer on top. Locals eat it with chira and gur, or simply with sugar after a meal. It is served at weddings and sold at bazars across the island.
