Anandabas Ten-Dome Mosque

This mosque stands in the western para of Anandabas village in Bagoan union, close to Mujibnagar. As the name says, it has ten domes. Of the seven mosques in Anandabas it is the oldest, and locals regard it as the place from which Islam spread in this border area. It is a quiet village stop that fits well into a day at Mujibnagar.

How to get there

From Meherpur take a bus or CNG towards Mujibnagar, then an easy-bike to Anandabas village.

Good to know

Go outside prayer times and ask before entering. The Mujibnagar Memorial is only a few kilometres away.
