Adampur, also called Kauargola forest, is one beat of the Rajkandi reserved forest in Kamalganj upazila. It is the same band of hill forest that holds Lawachara and Hamham, but far fewer people come here. Trails climb small hills through tall trees and bamboo, where you may hear gibbons and see langurs and many birds. It suits people who want a forest walk without crowds.

How to get there

From Srimangal or Kamalganj take a CNG to Adampur bazar, then walk in with a local guide.

Good to know

Hire a local guide; trails are not marked. Wear proper shoes, carry water, and watch for leeches in the rainy season.
