Bibikhana is a cake-like pitha made from rice flour, milk, eggs, coconut and date-palm gur, slow-cooked until golden on top. It is popular across Bangladesh but is a point of pride in Shariatpur, where it is listed among the district's notable dishes. It is a winter treat, often made when guests visit. Ask at a homestay or local eatery to try it.
